The MVR Post Irene Relief Website was created to give residents, second home owners and visitors a place to rise above the turmoil and to help their fellow (hu)man.

We will post photos and video, give updates on the good and the bad, ask for help, and offer help to anyone in and around Vermont's Mad River Valley.

We are located at the Mason's Lodge on Rt. 100 at Bridge St. in Waitsfield, just south of Village Grocery in Waitsfield.

If driving to Waitsfield/Warren, take I-89 to exit 9 (if from south), then right on Rt 2 WEST 4 miles, then left on Rt 100 South. If from I-89 north, exit 10 Waterbury and 100 South.

Hours are 10:00am to 2:00pm - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. 9am-3pm on Saturday

The outpouring of support and supplies for flood victims has been phenomenal. In fact some towns/areas now have an added burden of managing donations that have come.

For this reason, we ask that folks hold off on donations of clothing, furnishings and non-perishable food items, unless a specific need is communicated. The flood Relief headquarters only accepts cleaning supplies, building materials, and food to feed vounteers. We DO NOT accept or distribute clothing, household supplies or food items.
